I usually work in two tracks, often at the same time:
Products. I design and build AI-powered products, websites, apps, and prototypes – LLM integrations, agents, retrieval and search, tool calling via MCP – and make sure they stay reliable under real users, real load, and real deadlines. That means owning the AI outcome end to end: the integration shape, the agent architecture and orchestration, the evaluation strategy and guardrails, and the decision records that explain why things are the way they are.
Ways of working. I help teams and organizations adjust early and deliberately, so AI becomes part of how they work instead of an isolated experiment. That includes setting up agentic engineering workflows, building shared skills, patterns, and tooling your teams can reuse, one-on-one sessions, reviews of your work, and high-level, strategic conversations about your approach.
Models, tools, and best practices change every few months (sometimes weeks, on a good day hours), so I build for inheritance: replaceable layers, documented decisions, and teams that understand what they own. The goal is a team that’s stronger once I’m gone, not one that depends on me staying.
I’m used to working as a one-person team across engineering, design, and product, and I’m just as happy to embed in yours, work closely with designers, strategists, and business leads, and share what I know along the way.
I’m no generic consultant or »AI coach« and I take my projects personally. I get involved with everything I have and I expect the same from my partners: you.
In both my day job and my side gigs (i.e. in the evenings and on the weekends), I built software to help my clients grow, mentored other engineers, interviewed engineering candidates, figured out how to build stuff that’s complicated, and managed stakeholders while maintaining a high level of hands-on development skills.
These days, that also means designing agent architectures, defining evaluation strategies and guardrails, documenting decisions so teams can inherit what I build, and helping organizations adopt AI as a way of working rather than a side experiment.
I’m based in the exurbs of Munich, work remotely, am experienced with agile projects, and speak English and German.

As a person with entrepreneurial pursuits, I’m also happy to offer flexible compensation packages (i.e. shared revenue, performance-based compensation, or ESOPs/equity) in addition to the »classic model« if the opportunity arises and it’s attractive enough.
